WMC: Other Resources

WMC provides many opportunities to engage in missions, but there are many more beyond WMC’s current programming. There are a wide range of ways to learn and serve in Boston (and beyond!), including classes, articles, events, or other service opportunities.

Perspectives is a course on how every believer can be intimately woven into the story of God using His people to be a blessing to all the peoples of the earth. The course is composed of reading, lecture, writing, and discussion (held in both in-person and online forms). The book used is a collection of articles by Biblical scholars, historians, missiologists, and practitioners, which studies God’s mission and character through the Bible, Christian history, culture, and world evangelization. Many CCFCers have taken the class, and WMC has partnered with Perspectives classes in the past as well!

Park Street Church is an exemplary leader in missions, with opportunities to serve locally and globally.

Urban Mosaic has developed a model for community development that is rooted in a multifaceted understanding of poverty that is also rooted in the Gospel. Take a look through their Transforming Cities and Progress Report to learn more.

Crosswired is an online learning community that connects and equips people for mission. Crosswired brings together many years of experience from around the world to enable mission workers and their supporters to flourish in new missional communities.
