House Church

Whether it is your first Sunday at CCFC, or your tenth year; whether you are married, single, an undergrad, a young professional, part of a family; whether you are new to Cambridge or whether you have been here for all of your life; whatever your age or life stage, House Churches are for you!

House Churches are CCFC's small group ministry and they are the primary place where we hope that individuals and families will grow as followers of Jesus, together. None of us were made to live out our faiths alone. We all need a place to pray, to celebrate, to grow, to study, to be known and cared for by others, and ultimately to spur one another on towards a greater discipleship to Jesus Christ. While every House Church is a little bit different in terms of how these values are lived out, all of them are places where we hope that you will find encouragement for your spiritual journey.

To get connected to a house church, please fill out the House Church Interest Form so we can get to know you better and find a good fit for you. You can also email Jean Shim, House Church Coordinator, at jean [at], or talk to any church staff. Please note that currently we may only be able to accommodate CCFC attendees as most of our groups are at capacity. If you have not attended CCFC before please visit our services first to see if our church is a good fit for you. Thanks for your understanding!

House Church Vision Statements and Descriptions
CCFC Monday Night House ChurchMondays at 7 pm in Cambridge/Central Square (Kisuk Kim, Benji Moncivaiz)
This house church is a learning community of people taking concrete steps toward Jesus; we will walk through different spiritual practices together, share about our devotional lives, and prioritize listening over problem solving.
Tuesdays at 7 pm in Cambridge/Central Square (Tonia Hicks, Shelly Koo, Michelle Sham)
The vision of Green Street House Church is to be a spiritual home where guests become family as we journey together.
Tuesdays at 7 pm in Cambridge/Harvard Square (Benny Diep, Kevin Ryan, Dennis Tung)
Our house church welcomes you to come as you are. We invite you to be completely open, honest, and hope to create an environment comfortable and fun enough to do so. Come with all your questions and skepticism as we study Gods word together. We are excited to walk and journey with you as we become family.
Tuesdays at 7:30 in Cambridge/Central Square (Tim Chu, Sarah Heena Kim, Myron Poon)
As a house church, we desire to see God at work in Scripture and in our lives; pursue Him personally, corporately, and missionally; and live in faith knowing that He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
Thomas & Christiana - Wednesday Night House ChurchTuesdays at 6:30 pm in Watertown (Thomas and Christiana Botticello)
We envision our house church as a community where members care fore, build trust with, and depend upon one another.  We strive to engage with Scripture on a practical level that informs our daily behavior and spiritual growth.  Practicing community and studying Scripture prepare us to minister not only to each other, but also to others. #FoodForTheJourney

CCFC Wednesday Night Neighborhood Group

Wednesdays at 7 pm at CCFC (Helen Kim and Pastor Jason Yung)
The Wednesday Night Neighborhood Group meets weekly in the basement of the church, opening up our doors to youth and young adults in our Central Square neighborhood. We meet together to eat dinner, study the Bible, pray and simply hang out. With a core group of adult volunteer leaders, the Wednesday Night ministry focuses on investing in relationships with the youth and their families, and to provide both spiritual and life mentorship and guidance to attendees. Our group also has a growing number of babies and children! In addition to weekly dinner and studies, our group also spends time together outside of Wednesday nights as well, including outings to Six Flags, bowling, miniature golfing, the beach and other fun trips.
Fridays at 7 pm in Cambridge/Central Square (Anna Hall, Yi David Yang)
We are a community that loves Jesus together through prayer, scripture, and worship. We seek to experience and show God's love more deeply through fellowship in our daily walks. We have food.
Fridays at 7 pm in Boston/Allston (Dan Chen, Sherwin Chen, Juan Santos)
The Allston house church is a young adult community that desires to glorify God by not only knowing, but living out the love and compassion of Jesus found in scriptures through our every day life. We strive for studies that are doable, applicable, and biblical (DAB), so join us in DABing.
Fridays at 7 pm in Boston/Fenway (Leonard Kogos and Anna Kogos)
Fenway Friday house church is a caring community where people feel welcome, find rest in the midst of busy urban lives and grow together in their walks with God. #welcomerestgrow
Saturdays (2nd and 4th) from 10 am - 12:30 pm in Somerville (Jonathan Liu and Tina Lu)
The vision of our house church is for every member, young and old, to understand and believe that she or he is loved by our Lord and to encourage one another to live everyday life in greater faith because of that love. Join us on (most) 2nd and 4th Saturdays in Somerville (good bus access and decent street parking). We usually have lunch, either via rotating cooks or potluck. Toddlers will be present, so it will help if you like them, but everyone is welcome (note: we usually have childcare, but we also desire to find ways to intentionally involve our kids).
Oh yeah, and plan for Jesus to be present.  We kind of like him and invite him to all of our gatherings.
Saturdays (1st and 3rd) from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm in Brookline/Coolidge Corner (Harvard Pan and Cindy Liu)
We are a house church that seeks fellowship and meditation on God's word in the midst of all that whirls around uswork, family, neighborhoods, hobbies, and the overall busyness of life. A few things we consider: What are our life's priorities? How can we receive spiritual nourishment through our fellowship? How do we serve God corporately in our home?
Our group is "family friendly" simply in that our schedule and structure help meet the needs of families; individuals and couples who are open to or like this atmosphere are encouraged to attend! We meet 1-2 times a month. This schedule is set months in advance by members of the group. We maintain a structured schedule with a prompt start and end time. Fellowship and a light potluck breakfast will take place followed by Bible study and sharing/prayer. Childcare is usually provided. Following breakfast, infants stay with parents and older children transition into independent activities that take place in view of adults.
